A remarkable book!

Full of illustrations and informative biographical information, this book recreates the old Dublin of O'Casey's life with great care and skill. A book I cannot recommend more highly. This work was obviously an inspiration (along with O'Casey's autobiographies) for Director Hal Prince's dramatic play- GRANDCHILD OF KINGS, a re-telling of Sean's early life.
