Blown away by the dual narrative mystery

I picked this out of a little library on the beach and was pleasantly surprised. I had initially dismissed it as an easy beach but couldn't out it down! Harkening Daphne Du Maurier and a bit reminiscent of Peter May books (but in the south rather than Scotland or Europe), I highly recommend this book. Excellent mysteryvand historical fiction with a dual narrative spanning time.
