Good fast witty read.

Women of any age would enjoy this book.

Murder, Mayhem and Hilarity mixed with great romance!

The first in Ms Langtry's new series, Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy is a mix of hilarious hijinks, romantic suspense and a family that one could actually die from. I loved it. It was sexy, fun and downright enjoyable. Highly recommended to all. Go out and buy the next in the series, as well. You won't regret it.

Fast Paced and Funny Felony!

What's a mild mannered assassin to do? In love with a bodyguard, assigned to kill off the body he's in charge of guarding, charged with training her 5 year old daughter to follow in the family's tradition of whacking bad guys, wherever they may be, and then charged with flushing out a mole in the family who is threatening to go to the authorities about the hand his relations have had in the expiration of various characters. For Gin, it's all in a day's work. Written in the first person from Gin's point of view, this novel is a hilarious page turner. Don't miss it. This is an author I'll be watching for!

New Author To Watch

Picked up this book on a whim and am completely glad that I did. I loved this book! This book grabs you from the first page and made me laugh out loud. The quotes at the beginning of each chapter are so very funny that you should not skip a word of this book. The Bombay family is completely dysfunctional and each person could have there own book. Loved how everyone was named after a city, state or place and was always surprised when the next odd name was revealed. Would love to see this series continue to include Gin's (Virginia) brother Dakota(Dak) and Liv's (Liverpool) brother Paris at the very least.

4 stars

Ginny Bombay's day job is being a widowed, suburban SAHM, but it's her secret life that makes things interesting. She's a member of a three thousand year old clan of assassins, a highly skilled killer who has been practicing her trade since she was a little girl, just like every other member of her family. Now, the family is in a crisis and it's up to Gin to resolve it by unearthing the mole who could expose them to the governments of the world. It may mean killing someone she loves, but it's that or be killed. The Bombays are not exactly a sentimental lot. Family business is not what Ginny wants to concentrate on, unless it will let her off the snooty witch who saddled her with Daisy Troop duty. She'd rather try to figure out how to manage a relationship with a new man, one who is opposed to killing, oddly enough. **** Though you know that what Ginny does for a living is evil, you find yourself chuckling along with her adventures and secretly rooting for her. Imagine La Femme Nikita as a PTA mom, and you might have an idea of what to expect. This is a fun read, a true guilty pleasure. **** Amanda Killgore

fast-paced romantic suspense chick lit thriller

Widow Gin Bombay is a single mom, who serves as a daisy troop leader; that is when she is not performing her family vocation, assassin. She knows she must start her daughter's training with knitting needles as her mother did her and so forth for centuries when her offspring turns five. While browsing in a Border's bookstore, she meets Australian bodyguard Diego. To her surprise she loses track of time as they chat amiably for hours before finally leaving; each feels the attraction gor the other. They begin to see one another. Meanwhile Gin is assigned to assassinate someone selling top secrets to a foreign country. However, this traitor is Diego's client so she ponders how to not harm him when she performs her task. She succeeds when he stupidly shows up at her home without his bodyguard stating he knows she is a professional killer assigned to take him out. Diego arrives while his client lies dead on her floor. As her family helps her dispose of the corpse, she wonders which relative informed on her. Tongue in cheek as the family occupation is female assassins, readers will enjoy the humorous adventures of Gin as she begins training her offspring to be a killing chip off the old block and falls in love with her target's bodyguard. The fast-paced romantic suspense chick lit thriller is over the top, but fans will want follow suit as Leslie Langtry provides a satirical family drama. Harriet Klausner
