I choose this book because it sounded like a fun and entertaining military scifi read. Then, I became hooked on the characters. Each and everyone one of them. I love Ricket, he is one small nerd of all nerds. And, of course, Captain Jason Reynolds is awesome. You will never be bored reading any one of the series. I highly recommend you read all of his (Mark Wayne McGinnis) books: Scrapyard Ship, Star Watch, Ship Wrecked Stranded on an Alien World, Boy Gone, Gun Ship, Guardian Ship, The Hidden Ship, USS Hamilton series, and the USS Jefferson.- Libby

Good Reading
This military space opera Syfy adventure continues. Super characters are really woven into the storylines, also some new ones are included. Lots of surprises and action, this author keeps you guessing and coming back for more. Look forward to the next installment with this crew of folks who now are like friends.- Charles C. Grimes

Amazing what can come from a Scrapyard
I have read all the books in this series so far, and it is one of my all-time favorites Mark Wayne McGinnis is a top-notch Sci-fi Space Opera writer and his books attest to that fact. Can never seem to put one of his books down once I've started reading. I would like to see 50 more books in this series, I would gladly purchase every one - Richard Meinhardt
