Best math reference book for engineers & students

Are you an enginner that has not used any uper level math for a long time? Are you a student that wants book packed wrh all the math you will need? This is the book for you! The math in this book goes from trig to diff Eq to bessel tables and then some.

Very useful mathematical tool for physicist!

I am a Junior Physics major and this book has been a great tool for integrations, series, etc. when you don't have a mathematical computing program available. The special indefinite integral tables are especially useful.

Inexpensive reference!

As an undergraduate physics major, it is necessary to have some sort of mathematical handbook containing tables of integrals, trig identities, differentiation rules, vector identities, etc. As such, I cannot give this book higher praise! While does not contain as many features as the CRC Handbook of Tables and Formulae, or many of the other big famous hardcovers, it makes up for this in many ways. It is compact, lightweight and fits in most bookbags. It contains the tables and rules which will be most used in undergraduate homework problems. Most importantly, it is affordable on a student budget! I carry this with me to study groups and tutoring sessions.

Best money i've ever spent

This handbook was pretty much all I ever needed from college through my Ph.D. in physics. An extremely valuable resources. If the formula you need isn't in here, chances are you did the problem wrong

Invaluable reference!

As an undergrad in physics and math, one of the physics professors recommended this book as "the math reference you couldn't live without". Now as a grad student, I'm quickly discovering that she wasn't kidding. It has just about everything you could need. I don't know how much time I've saved from digging through a pile of textbooks to find the appropriate integral or function. Get it. You won't regret it.
