SCARIEST STORIES YOU'VE EVER HEARD

I FIRST CAME ACROSS THE 2ND BOOK OF THIS SERIES WHEN MY MOM BOUGHT IT FOR ME AT A GARAGE SALE BACK WHEN I WAS A KID. I READ THE WHOLE BOOK THAT SAME NIGHT UNDER A BLANKET WITH A FLASHLIGHT. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCARY STORY COLLECTIONS OF ALL TIME. THIS BOOK IS PERFECT FOR SLEEP OVERS, CAMP OUTS, HALLOWEEN, STUDY HALL, ROAD TRIPS, COLLEGE DORMS, AND REALLY WHENEVER YOU ARE HOME ALONE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE ALL 3 OF THESE BOOKS.

a CLASSIC WITH SOME GREAT CAMPFIRE TALES

This book I remember from grade school, along with the 2 others. I bought them at one of those Scholastic book fairs in like 4th grade maybe. They are wonderful, even reading them now in their simplistic youth writing style they creep me out! My favorites are: The Slasher, The Sea of the Dead, Dead Man's Hill, and Horror Weekend but they are all great!! Buy them for your kids if they like camping and getting scared... good clean fun!

Holy crap, I can't believe I found this one! Okay, 1st or 2nd grade, I can't remember exactly which but I picked one of these books up at the sholoastic school book fair in a small basement room at my elementary school and never read anything quite like it. . .the stories in it were truly gruesome (considering the young age) but it brought about so much imagination and interest in the subject! Long live these scary stories, they are the tales that stick in your head forever. Found in the series are descriptions and language that will either inspire a child to read more or pee their pants and have some serious nightmares.

Third time's a charm: A truly terrifying series

This series of stories are the best selection of terrifying tales and urban legends and folklore. Sadly, they no longer print them, but I recommend you order one used - no matter what the condition! The books aren't many pages, but there is a good number of stories (about a dozen, maybe more) and you will want to stop and think (and turn on the lights) after each.The best rituals you can use with these stories are to tell them to your friends. Some are common, and others are rare tales. You can change the dates and names to make it have happened closer to home......if you aren't too scared!(Reviewed by Andre.)
