Memorable!

I am 30 years old have fantastic memories of my mom reading this to me as a child. Fantastic illustrations! Repetition that's wonderful for children! I read a lot of books as a child but this makes it into my Top 10!

LOVE IT!!!

I think this is one of Audrey Wood's best books. The little kitty cats are given a letter by Mama cat to take to town to the post office. As they set off on their first journey without Mama, they begin "to wonder and worry" about scarey, woeful, terrible things..." Truly adorable and fun to read. I must have read it 20x to my 3 year old in the first 24 hours of owning it. Then my daughter took the book and started "reading" it on her own when I couldn't sit with her. I just love this book, and so does my little girl. Really, cute and emotionally expressive illustrations. Don't hesitate to buy this one. Get the hardcover Child's Play Library edition if you can.
