A fine inspirational memoir that should not be missed

It ain't over until you say it's over. "Saving the Best for Last: Creating Our Lives After 50" is a guide for those who have passed the half century mark but don't want to give up living their lives just yet. Drawing on their own lives and experiences, the authors give much inspiration and wisdom for making one's twilight the light of one's life. "Saving the Best for Last" is a fine inspirational memoir that should not be missed.

Saving the Best For Last

Your book was so insightful of 3 very brave women sharing their most intimate and at times funny lives with us. I've never read a book so honest and heartwarming as yours. I could identify with many of your stories for I had many of the same experiences. The group exercses were very insightful for me. Thank you for writing another courageous book. Ann Castiglia

Saving the Best for Last

Divided into clear chapters, each of which is followed by suggestions and activities prompting further reflections, this book will satisfy the solitary reader as well as the book club member. Of course the title alludes to Robert Browning's "Come, grow old along with me/The best is yet to be/The last of life/For which the first was made." And these authors convince us we can grow gracefully--not old--with a little planning, some honest assessments, and a sense of humor. Encouraging, non-judgmental, and blessed with experience and perspective, the authors exhort us to hitch our wagons to the stars, to learn from the past but to live in the present--the only way we can discover our own brave new worlds. A wonderful read.

Reading this book and I love it! Can't put it down! I am 3 quarters the way through it and now my friends are buying it too! Thanks for sharing yourselves so sincerely. What a GREAT book!

A candid, enlightening must read

If you are over 50 or approaching it, this is a must read--candid and enlightening. These three women have pulled out all the stops and given us the opportunity to see how collaboration and friendship can create, heal, support all of us in this fascinating walk through the later part of our lives. You will recognize yourself or a loved one in any number of the topics discussed in 3-part harmony--each author giving her take on a given subject. This format, in and of itself, is a creative, interesting approach and enhances the reading experience. Get the book, read it, send it to friends! Enjoy. Gay Breuler, Bradenton Beach, FL
