Saved by Grace

"You have been saved by grace" is the message the Apostle Paul tells the people in his letter to the Ephesians. He tells them in this letter how God has, from before the creation of the world, planed a way for them to be holy and without blame before Him. He tells them that through God's Son, Jesus, they are adopted as sons into His family. Paul then tells them about the grace of God that saves through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus; that even the faith is a gift of God, and it is not through anything we do to earn it. He continues with the thought that we are God's workmanship, and were created for good works. Paul continues his letter explaining a "mystery" that had been hidden until revealed to the apostles: the salvation offered is not limited to the Jews but is available worldwide. He continues, through the rest of the letter, revealing what kind of attitudes and actions are appropriate for us because of the gift of salvation. When many people think of "saved" their thoughts are primarily about heaven and so it's surprising that there is not much said about heaven in Paul's letter to the Ephesians; however, that aspect is discussed in "Saved by Grace" through other writings in the Bible. So, whether you are interested in the path to salvation, the effect it can have while on earth or an eternity spent in heaven, I pray that you will find something of interest in this book.
