At last...my (imperfect) love has come along!

In this third visit to Savannah's world, the reader has to plan to not have any other urgent agendas besides devouring this book. Once again Denise captures our imaginations with fabulous characters in real life situaions who respond consistently within the bounds of Savannah's life...QUIRKY! Savannah continues to embrace her new life and new dreams while being totally authentic in her thoughts about the past...not just her past, either. She's decided that she's not going to fend off Josh's attentions any longer or push away Amber or stand in the way of something developing between her little brother, Thomas,and her best friend, Paige. In the midst of all of that, she realizes that no one is perfect or can live up to anything but expectations framed in grace...grace given by God and that which we extend to one another. My husband has banned me from reading in bed because of this book. I laughed so hard at times that the bed shook him awake and sniffed so loudly at other times that he felt compelled to get out of bed to get me a tissue. I read the book in one sitting (four hours) and then immediately started it again. To quote Savannah, "Keep em coming." Please don't make us wait too long for the next adventure with Savannah, Denise!

Not done, but can't put it down

It's great! What more can one say. It has a perfect combination of love and just Savannah. Denise just keeps getting better! :)

Savannah by the Sea Rocks!!

Savannah by the Sea arrived in my mailbox yesterday and it was perfect timing! I'm half way through the book and already Denise Hildreth has drawn me back into the world of Savannah. I have laughed, gasped, and talked to the characters since last night. I'm trying to slow down because I don't it to end to soon. I'll give you one hint about the book..love is in the air!! I already have this book on my list as a wonderful gift for the girls in my life. Thanks again Denise...Well Done!

Fantastic!

I didn't think the Savannah series could get any better than the first two books, but I was wrong. Savannah by the Sea, the third book in this series is perfect. It's hilarious!

fabulous!!!

i just finished this book (late) last night... i thought the first 2 were really good, but this one was by far the absolute best! it was really fun and quirky at times, and there were several parts that had me laughing out loud a lot! a lot more romance, and some very hilarious encounters with her family (particularly the trip in the car to the beach).i highly recommend this 3rd book - it's really fabulous!
