Wonderfully done!

I give Mrs. Miller's book more than five stars. This third installment to her Springwater Series is masterfully written. She brings new characters to the pages but still gives us lots of great glimpses of all the past characters we have grown to love! This story brings a young female saloon keeper to Springwater. She's for her half of the local bar. But an incident on the stagecoach calls for her assistance...and just possibly her heart. He's full of hurt and pain from the things he remembers from the war as a surgeon. He is stuck on a stagecoach with nothing but his doctor bag. A young woman is in great need of his assistance to deliver her baby but he needs strong, steady hands to help him. Can he turn to the young, beautiful saloon keeper for help? She wants to know this gentle doctor. This doctor wants see more to this saloon keeper. Will they fall...for each other that is?! I wanted to know the answer to that question as soon as I read the first chapter! Pretty good book...

I have to admit that at first I didn't think I was going to care for the book because it was a Dr. & a Saloon Girl. Pretty weird combination but the author made it work really well. Savannah & Pres are both on a stagecoach with a pregnant girl who goes into labor just outside of Springwater. Savannah can tell that Pres is a doctor & tells him to do something. Shortly after the coach arrives in Springwater & Savannah helps to deliver the baby. Pres who has lost all his money gambling & drinking is stuck in Springwater & Savannah is there to take up her part ownership at the Saloon. I was much happier with this book then I was in the last book. There was finally a lot more going on. There still wasn't any mystery at all to this book which I'm missing because I usually love a little thrill in my romance book & I've yet to find that in this series. There haven't been any bad guys at all. So far it's just a peaceful little town during the day & we haven't seen the night life in this town yet but hopefully we will. I recommend this book to anybody looking for a nice, fast & easy read. This is the 3rd book in the series. #1 Springwater #2 Rachel.

A refreshing read.

This book will leave you wanting more from this author. The not-your-average characters connect with an electricity the reader can feel through the entire book.

Nice little vacation for the brain

This whole series of books was a nice vacation for the brain. When you're tired of hearing about tragedies and violence and worst possible scenarios, when you've used your brain all day and just need a little quiet time, these are just what the doctor orderred. They are broken down into tiny little books, too, so you can begin and finish them in an afternoon. No high-brow intellectual stimulation, but better than the TV soap-opera drivel. Check them out they're fun!

Savannah was the best in the series!!!

I've read all the books in the SpringWater Series and I have to say that "Savannah" Was my absolute favorite! It was warm,witty, and sweet. I fell absolutly in love with Savannah and the Doc. I can't wait until the Christmas novel!!
