GREAT LOVE STORY

I enjoyed this Indian love story very much. I am a die-hard romance reader and this sweet love story did it for me. Two Eagles is the perfect guy! The love scenes were spicy enough and Cassie E. put in a few of those.Read this one for a nice, feel good feeling when youre thru.

Savage Beloved, a story of the love and lives of Candy and Two Eagles.

The story of Candy, Shadow, and Two Eagles and the Wichita people is an interesting twist of the lives of all of them and how they deal with it. I loved the connection of Candy and Shadow, her pet, and how it affects everyone's lives. The story line is intesting and enjoyable and you can feel their pain and love as you read and become envolved in the story being told. When Candy is found by Two Eagles, he doesn't believe her when she said she tried helping Short Robes, and keeps her captive. The story changes when he finds out she is telling the truth and can be trusted. I love learning the ways and customs of the Native Americans and all they had to endure when the white ponies arrived and took over. The book shows their love for their people and their respect and love of the land as they try to keep their homes and people free in a peaceful way. I always enjoy Cassie Edwards books, she has a way of making them interesting, enjoyable, and informative with each story told. I hate to put them down once I start reading them. Pat Reiber

fine by the Edwardian numbers Indian romance

In 1849 Kansas, Wichita tribesman Two Eagles assaults Fort Hope in an attempt to free his Uncle Short Robes held prisoner there. Fearing the worst from the savages, Candy Creighton hides, but is soon abducted by the outraged Two Eagles as a savage beating has left his uncle near death. He takes her as the price for the affront committed by the military to his beloved relative. Candy swears to her captor that she did everything she could and more to ease Short Robes' plight. Two Eagles wants to believe her, but knows whites lie. As she adapts to life amongst his tribe, she falls in love with him and quickly cherishes his people. He reciprocates, but their road to happiness is filled with danger from outside and betrayal from inside. The plot is the same for the gazillion time. The lead couple is also the same noble ethical individuals as always for the gazillion time. So knowing all this, somehow even vowing never again, this reviewer enjoys Cassie Edwards' formulaic Indian romances. This one is no exception as the plot and lead protagonists are from the same cookie cutter, refreshed somewhat by the lifestyle of the Wichita tribe. As always Ms. Edwards entertains her fans.
