Really good book, teaches you everything in a simple way

Hi, we tried to register for classes at SAP for the ABAP Query and we were told there were none. We bought 2 copies of the book and have properly setup the tool and are writing our own reports. It was very well written with good examples for both business readers and programmers (for the more advanced stuff). Would recommend A++

Wish SAP Offered a Class on This. . .

We didn't even know that SAP had an end user reporting tool. We heard about the ABAP Query through the newgroups and we had trouble setting it up and SAP does not offer any training classes on it or on setting it up. Our company found this book (also on a recommendation from the newsgroup) and we were able to setup up the tool and teach all the end users (over 1800 in multiple locations in US and Malaysia) to write their own reports. Book is great I recommend it to all companies that have SAP and want their end users to be able to create their own reports.

So Hopeful we are now doing are own reporting

Heard about the book through the ASUG SAP conference. It was the best SAP book our company has bought to date. It walks you through step by step of how to setup the ABAP Query and all these neat reporting tricks. Glad that we finally mastered this without having to rely on our programmers for every report. Would recommend this book to anyone who wants to figure out how to use the ABAP Query or Microsoft reporting through SAP.

Good book for a Beginner

Author did a good job using screen prints to demonstrate the configuration, making it easy to understand. I felt the topics were a little light on content for anyone having advanced SAP skills, but good book for someone just starting off in SAP.
