Beyond a page turner.

Of the thousands of books I own only two are fiction, The Sands of Time and one by Pearl Buck. Fiction, in general, does not hold my attention. This read so fast because the story was so exciting, not one unnecessary word, no decriptions unneede d. Really a masterpiece of writing. Why it is not a movie is a real puzzle.
