Good Book, Dated, includes Shopsmith, plans for Drum Sander

I ordered this book for 2 basic reasons. First, I own a Shopsmith (it does address other concerns besides Shopsmith). Second, the book contains the plans for making a "Thickness Sander" (some call them Drum Sanders) which I plan on making. The book has about 124 pages. Nick Engler is at the time of this writing, incharge of Shopsmiths Academy, and he is giving pod cast live videos concerning Shopsmith. The book is a little dated (and so are the pictures) But the information contained in it is well worth it and accurate. It explains how the machines work and gives plans for basic jigs that can be used in the shop. It explains Sanders and Abrasives very well in laymans terms. The book goes into How to choose Tools and Materials. The book contains a chapter on Hand Planes, Files, Rasps, and Scrapers. there is more. The project section of the book gives the planes and discusses how to build a Hand Scraper Plane, a Thickness Sander, and Disc and Drum Sander. The Thickness Sander plans are for a Shopsmith unit BUT they can be easly adapted to a stand alone machine. I found the book to be very helpful to me in many facets of my woodworking endeavor.
