Great introduction to pop-ups

My 10-month-old son can be immediately quieted with this book. He's clearly fascinated by the "magic" of the appearing and disappearing pop-up panels.There's no variety in the way the pop-ups work from page to page -- they all are triggered by pulling a tab at the side of the page, and they all pop up in exactly the same place in exactly the same size.But the story is good, the illustrations are colorful and clever, and it's the littlest readers are amazed. I've been searching for its equal, but haven't found it yet. All other pop-ups are too easy to tear or grab.In other words, although adults may fault it for lacking variety, young children don't seem to be bothered by that. And its sturdy construction makes it a very worthwhile buy.
