My son and I loved Sam: The Tale of a Chesapeake Bay Rockfish. It is a well written story that keeps his interest every time we read it. We visit the Eastern shore of Maryland several times a year. This story brings us back to the shore with it's beautiful illustrations and wonderful story full of adventure and a happy ending!

My son and I read "Sam" often and he loves it. Fish and sea creatures are among his favorites so its a great book which reinforces that love. The pictures are wonderful to look at as well. I highly recommend the book to other parents!

This is a wonderful story about one of Maryland's most treasured resources. Cleaverly written with beautiful illustrations. Children of all ages will enjoy. If you love the Chesapeake Bay this is a must read.
