Buy this book NEW not used if...!

This is a wonderful introductory text for Italian. If, however, you plan to use QUIA for the workbook exercises, you will need a key code that comes with NEW books. It can only be used once. If you purchase the book used and want to use QUIA for the exercises (homework in most cases!) you will have to pony up almost $100 for access to QUIA for 18 months! So, if you have no need of online access to QUIA, buy a used text. That said, the text is well done by Carla Leon Riga. Ciao!
