Salvation Mountain: Genius - or - Madness?

A spelling binding look into "The Art of Leonard Knight." This book depicts some the the extraiordinary work of Leonard Knight, which took him two decades to produce and continues to develop to this day. It gives the history of his ambition to create his monument to God and hints at his true dedication to his work. Unfortunately, the photographs cannot envoke the sheer feeling of awh as when you view this monument in person, yet it entices the viewer to experience it in person. Once you realize the conditions that this monument was created, you can't help but wonder if it is madness, genius, or God that drives Knight. If you ever are in Niland, California, ask for directions to Slab City, and you will have the pleasure of experiencing Knights extraodinary creation for yourself.
