This book is easy to browse for quick info on saints. Good pics as well, but the book isn't very long.

Wonderful Information about Immaculate People

Hallam's Saints is an excellent resource for information about what saint is the patron of what, when are their feast days, the origin of saints and so on. She provides in depth information and even categorizes from pilgrimage sites, to saintly women, saints who deal with illness and death, and the list goes on.
