Comparing to the Japanese edition...

Everyone is comparing the english version of this manga with the japanese version. however; i bet most of the customers who decided to buy this book don't know any janasene at all, like me. so, instead of considering us "unlucky to have these bad translations", i think we are lucky cuz these manga books, especially the fourth one, are still enjoyable. the print is a little bit too dark, but still they are the best manga books i owned. i guess the japanese version is better, because it is the original one, but to all those who don't know japanese and still love sailor moon: buy this book and enjoy it instead of pittying that you don't know japanese!

Absolutely beautiful.

I recommend any of the manga to anyone who is a Sailor Moon fan. Even if you aren't the artwork is absolutely beautiful to admire. I prefer the manga to the anime. This way you get to see the characters as they were meant to be. The drawings are much more flowing (heehee and again even more beautiful). In Book Four you get to see Rini for the first time. And what a little spore she is! But you also get a glimpse at her vulnerable side, after all she's just a little girl without her mama and papa.

Beautiful Art Wonderful Story

Most people only know about Sailor Moon thanks to DIC. In these NA versions of the popular manga we follow the adventures of Bunny and her friends as they defend the Earth from the scum of the universe. If you're one of those individuals who aboslutly love Sailor Moon then this book is for you. Continuing the story in what is known as the R season in the anime this story cuts right to the Black Moon family saga. Here we are introduced to Rini Sailor Moon daughter from the future who passes herself off as Bunny's cusin in order to ger the Silver Crystal. For those who are familiar with the anime this story skips the Doom Tree series. With its beautiful pictures and well written story this book (even with the NA names) is well worth it. It's well worth the wait for each volume. These books are not only great reads but great works of art as well.

Fantastic Manga

This book was so awesome, I loved it! The artwork was of course, gorgeous, especially at the beginning when Sailor Moon is fighting Metalia. And then Chibi-usa appears! This book is really funny too. I love Mercury's new attack, Shine Snow Illusion! Sadly, it's not very effective. I'm really glad Mixx stuck with the Japanese names for the attacks, like "Sparkling Wide Pressure" instead of something dumb like "Jupiter Thunder-Clap Zap." And I love the introduction of the two minor characters, Kotono and Asanuma. This is great! I love it! So far I have Sailor Moon 1-4 and Sailor Moon Super S 1-2, and I'm still collecting! Buy this book! Right now! Quit reading this and go buy it!

The best series ever!!! ^_^

This is a great book! The acts in this book are: Little Stranger, Sailor Mars, Black Moon Berie, And Black Moon Prizma. In it is the final battle between sailor moon and queen beryl/Metalia. after Rini apears, and so does the dark moon, with catzi, bertie, avery, & prizma. Mercury, Mars and Jupiter are kidnapped by the dark moon. This is a great book, a must read. In answer to the question about book 5 and Makoto smoking, I think it was a candy one, (I'm not sure, i've only read the fan translation of that one) :) ^-^
