Said the Spider to the Fly

A contract killer receives a letter from an old friend. Though their friendship has strained, they still do business. They meet and the killer is offered a contract and takes it. He'll watch a woman and her two young daughters and wait for further instructions. Part of him enjoys the hunt, but another part, an inner beast he can no longer control, enjoys the kill. He travels to rural Tennessee where he begins his vigil. When he sees the woman and her daughters, he's reminded of his estranged daughter and the two granddaughters he's never seen. The woman and her girls live in a secluded farmhouse. She's successful, but with a mysterious past. She's also become complacent. After watching the woman and her children in their routines, the killer decides that he wants to be a part of his daughter and granddaughters' lives. He'll quit the vigil and leave the next morning for Colorado, where they live. That night, he receives a call and is ordered to kill the woman and both girls. After the call, he considers his options. If he doesn't kill them, he'll have to disappear, but if he kills them, will he see their faces every time he looks at his daughter and granddaughters? He decides that he'll disappear, but not before warning the woman. Then he hears a voice...
