A Poet with Wit

I first stumbled onto UA Fanthorpe while writing a reseach paper for a class on contemporary Christian poetry. And while UA Fanthorpe writes poems with religious themes they are not wishy-washy! They have bite and wit, they make you think. Most of the poems in this volume are general in nature. Several tell stories of characters, she takes on their voice in the poem. She is not afraid to tell life as it is. And life is not "safe". Do not be afraid to order this book and taste her bite and wit. It is a very satisfying poetic read.
