What are signs and omens, and how are they used?

How many times have all of us said: "If I could just get a sign! Then I'd know what to do!" Well, this book, in plain and simple terms, explains exactly what signs and omens are, how to ask for them, and how to recognize them when they show up! I have utilized signs and omens for my entire life, and yet I learned some vital (and helpful) new information from this book. If you follow the simple steps in this book and regularly apply them you will learn how to ask for and receive signs and omens that will help you in the decision making processes in your life. You will find a new source of help and guidance that will make your life easier, richer, and more rewarding if you choose to apply these easy tools and techniques. And who knows, you may even receive a sign that saves your life! One word of advice, though: if you ask for a specific sign that you shouldn't do a certain thing, and you receive that sign, then don't seek additional signs as a cosmic permission to go ahead and do the thing that you know you shouldn't do anyway! If you seek a "yes" sign but you get a "no" sign then have the integrity to honor the help that you've asked the Other Side to give to you! Don't ask for additional signs and try to overturn the original verdict, or the Other Side will temporarily quit working with you. To keep asking for the sign that you want instead of the sign that you're given is like going from psychic to psychic until one finally tells you what you're hoping to hear. Don't do it.

be careful what you ask for

Plain and simple, Im actually at a loss for words when trying to describe this book. I have a history of asking and receiving "signs", but I was looking to understand how it was happening and how I could do it more deliberately. Within minutes of trying the approach in this book, i received the sign I had ask for concerning the future of my then relationship. I was in such disbelief and denial of receiving the sign I had asked for that I thought of every and any excuse to justify the sign as pure coincidence...exactly what Adrian says in this book that many people will do. To make matters even more interesting, I received my sign within the time that I asked for it, which i set at only a couple of minutes. Since then, I have not used this again. But i know if I REALLY want a sign i Know how to get it.

A wonderful concept, yet the most basic idea in the universe.

Having read Dr. Calabrese's other works, I can say that this is the most developed, it is based on a simple idea, there are signs in everything/anything if you attune yourself to them. This is a most wonderful concept, even in the everyday and the weird. From Einstein's Relativity to marketing something like microwave popcorn or advertising that catches your eye. The point of this review is to say, this book opens your eyes to the universal signs all around you and is not a "Freudian Dream Primer" or anything like that. Thus, indeed, I can highly recommend this book as a disciplining tool for the mind and spirit to notice those "basic" signals from the universe and existence coming from the mind and spiritual matters/stuff.
