This is an excellent novel. Easy to read. Getrudis Gomez de Avellaneda really did a good job writing this novel, that is basically a story about slavery and love. I started reading it and I did not let it go until I finished it. So, if you are really into reading, 2-3 hours are enough to read this interesting novel.
