Both amusing and enlightenting

On the face of it, RV There Yet? is a collection of travel anecdotes that go from amusing to downright hilarious. The reader comes away laughing uproariously (there are genuine I Love Lucy-style moments on this wacky trip,) and questioning the sanity of the parents, then wanting to be adopted into their family. Truly, this diary of a zany adventure also provides a portrait of a loving, charming family as they create lasting memories, albeit many of them gloriously inexplicable.

Family Fun

This is an inspiring account of a family's cross country RV trip. Each family member shared their experiences from their own perspective. It described various sites in a fun although sometimes frustrating way. Couldn't they just have left earlier? I felt their frustration at just missing out on various opportunities. It also pointed to the vulnerability one experiences in the desert where cell phones don't work and help is far away.

Hilarity we can all relate to!

For any of us who have travelled as a family, this whimsical story really hits a chord. I laughed all the way through it.
