Top Notch Romantic Fantasty

Betts has created a fantastic story with action, intrigue, battles and passion. This is one of the best fantasy romances I've read this year. The heroine has a strong spirit and sense of loyalty. The hero is the delicious alpha male we expect in the best romances. Running Wild is a heart-pounding, page-turner and a must read for lovers of fantasies and romances.

A wonderfully enchanting read that I am more inclined to call "Erotic Fantasy" than Paranormal, though she has breached someplace in the middle. Let me explain. Paranormal (To me) = All things that go Bump in the night. Were's, Vampires and Witche's ..Oh My! Fantasy (To me) = Wizards, Fae's, Unicorns and the like. MS. Betts has created what I would consider a "Cross Over" of sorts. There are plenty of Magical creatures throughout this exotic spell binding story. She broached the shades of life where one knows what's right and wrong, yet plagued the characters with those "gut" feelings where they are pulled down "deliciously" wicked avenues. Running Wild features in depth and multifaceted characters that long for freedoms they're not sure exists and then throws in a pot full of "Magical" trouble for them. She stirs the story well, creating an enchanting and thrilling ride for the reader. A very uniquely written story! Grab your poison of choice, that soft throw from the closet and curl up to be taken away.

Running Wild!

Running Wild is a paranormal erotica story, but Lucinda Betts does a terrific job of balancing the two for a cohesive look into the romance of the characters and the demons that are trying to take over the land. I enjoy my books paranormal, and it's not often that I read erotica so I'm always careful when choosing to read this genre. I wasn't disappointed at all. The characters all have great chemistry, and the antagonist is evil without making you hate her. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the sex scenes were written into the story without taking away from the plot. All of the scenes are vivid, making it easy to envision what's happening as you go. Lucinda has written elements into Running Wild that I've never read before, and I look forward to reading others that she has available!

The story of Shahrazad and Tahir is delightful and captivating

Princess Shahrazad has been trained her whole life to be deferential to men and to do as she is told. If she is ever touched by a man, then she will be considered impure for her future betrothed. When the magician shows up on her wedding day, Shahrazad 's destiny takes her down an unexpected path. Tahir comes from a society where men are only useful for providing heiress' to the throne and their unions with other houses further political ambitions. When Tahir meets Shahrazad, it takes everything he has ever known to keep from sweeping her off her feet right there. The two must come together to rid their worlds of a demon threat that comes once every 500 years. They will fight outside forces and their own desires to meet this threat head on. The story of Shahrazad and Tahir is delightful and captivating. Lucinda Betts draws the reader into the story and keeps them turning page after page to find out what is going to happen next to the star crossed lovers. I truly enjoyed the chemistry between Shahrazad and Tahir in Running Wild. Ms. Betts creates a picture in the reader's head of what is happening through her expressive detail in the book. I could almost picture the frightening countenance of the demons in my head. This book contains many different paranormal elements throughout, from shapeshifters to demons. So, if you are looking for a book that has a little bit of something for everyone, then pick up Running Wild today. I think you will definitely enjoy it!
