I read this book for the first time nearly thirty years ago and after several more readings over the years it still remains one of my most favorite books. I treasure this book so much that it is kept stored inside a zip lock bag in the drawer with my most important papers. For anyone that enjoys military reading this is a must. And to anyone that has watched " Band of Brothers" this book is a must read. In my opinion this book will take you there in infinite detail. I only wish it was available in hard cover and even more I wish Mr. Larsen had written more books.
