Great read!!!

Just finished reading Runaway. It had all of the elements needed for a great novel. Conspiracy, family values, intrique...The scary thing is, it all seems too real! Not sure if Mr. Topping has connections in Washington or not, but it sure seems like he knows something! I can't wait for him to write another book. I'll be first in line to get it!

CAPTIVATING!!!

This book was captivating. . . I couldn't put it down! It left me with the distinct impression that Mr. Topping knows much more about global warming and the government's plans then the rest of us. Obviously, his research was extensive. His compelling writing style kept me riveted; I hope he writes another book soon!

Doomsday with style

It's one thing to have a great story to tell, quite another to serve up the tale in a mesmerizing, pulse-pounding way. John Topping has transformed cold scientific possibility into a horrifying and addictively readable Armageddon scenario. Fascinating characters negotiate a maze of ego, power, and bone numbing fear as the earth spins toward a slow, agonizing death. The science is flawless, the human reactions frighteningly accurate. The melding of what could happen with believable, sexy heroes and villians makes for a chilling, unforgetable read.

A great thriller!

Runaway is an excellent read for anyone who loves a good mystery thriller. John Topping writing style is intelligent and he has an excellent knack for keeping you engrossed in the story. The global warming foundation for the story is obviuously well researched and therefore makes it very believable. Highly recommended as a good beach read.
