My four and six year olds enjoy this book. We read a few pages at a time as the information presented is quite dense. The book is divided thematically into chapters (structures, clothing, etc) and within each chapter there are pages dedicated to certain time periods. Information is presented in little blurbs positioned all around each page. The information seems basically correct. This is a good introduction to world history...

My children (age 5 & 7) are enjoying this book, though it would be a fun book for older kids as well. (I, too, am learning some things as we read it together for Home school). Each page can take us 15 minutes to get through due to all of the colorful pictures and TONS of fun facts about life long ago. Every few pages there is a simple art project the kids can do related to the page. They have enjoyed those too. I expected...
