When the winter in Rin is longer than expected, Rowan and his friends try to find out why it doesn't stop. Sheba will tell them what they need to do in order to save all Rin. After, they climbed up the mountain, they find out about their ancestors past. Don't make the mistake I did by reading the books out of order. This is the order published: * Rowan of Rin * Rowan and the Travellers * Rowan and the Keeper of the Crystal * Rowan and the Zebak * Rowan of the Bukshah * Rowan of Rin - The Journey It's very confusing if read out of order.

Gripping

The auther put thought into the characters and the Ice Creepers. Most of this book is placed in the mountains near the city of Rin. The characters were well written u really got a feel for the characters. Rowan of the Bukshaw its definitely well put in this story his journey you really get the feeling that you are in the story feeling his pain. Feel his love for his friends and the hate for the Ice Creepers. personally this book was great and its the best book that i've read in a while. this book i could read it over and over and still be interested.

A close to the series

Not filled with quite as much excitement as I hoped - but sufficient! Winters in Rin have been growing steadily colder and longer, and now it is too cold too bear. Rin moves down to the coast, leaving a few behind. Rowan begins another quest, this time to banish the evil Ice Creepers and warm the land once more. He and two others follow the Bukshah through the mountain, discovering evil things. Finally they discover the secret of the Mountain - and another one as well, one concerning the ancestry of the people of Rin.
