I thoroughly enjoyed this sensitive portrait of my favorite star. And unlike another reader, I thought the chapter on her sexuality was deftly handled. I also liked the way the authors addressed other personal issues, like her family and her struggle with her weight. I felt like the authors were NOT out to do some quick hatchet job on her. They really got the tone of her TV show. Highly recommended by a HUGE ROSIE FAN.
Fans of Rosie will enjoy this book.

I had a fun read of this excellent look into the life and times of Rosie O'Donnell. It's fairly complete, but a bit opinionated at times. The biographers seem to believe they live in Rosie's mind. The writing I found to be a little sloppy at times -- I had to skip back a page a few times and re-read a passage to figure out what Mair and Green were trying to say... The book contains a great deal of info on the movies Rosie has made, and on the Rosie O'Donnell Show itself, and even some info on Rosie's on-line activities. I really enjoyed the colour photographs (8 pages of them), but I found the cover art left something to be desired. Fans of Rosie (like myself) will enjoy this book.
