The themes of betrayal, romance, love and mystery underpin this epic drama about Annee Palmer, one of the most memorable characters in Jamaica's history who was the bewitching owner of a plantation; Millie, a beautiful and determined slave; and John Rutherford who was caught in the middle of the torrid love story.
Oh my.. I read this book in about two days... I wanted more, more, more.. Annie Palmer she was a real... shut yo mouth... :) and poor Millie and the man she love.. oh this book as short as it was had twists, turns and turnarounds...
Good storyline

I was looking for books about Annie Palmer because I was interested in a white witch in Jamaica. Sounded very mysterious. This book is a good representation of what was going on... but more in just story form. I was wanting more of the background behind her specifically and more of a horror story I guess. But, I gave this book 5 stars because it is wonderfully written for how the author wanted it to be written. Great book.
