The first year of college is supposed to be one of new experiences, adventure and discovery. Higher learning in a safe setting with new friends, new teachers and independence. For Violet Mann this was a chance to purse new dreams and live in a setting unlike she had ever done before.Moving into Edmyer Hall was a big change going from a small family setting to dormitory living with over a hundred young men and women living in the same building.
