Incredible

I found this stained, rumpled and crumpled book under the drivers seat of my husbands pickup (what's up with that?); so I didn't really buy it, but I have to say, now having read it, that I would have bought it in the first place--it's udderly fantastic! Some of the stories are short and quick and some are a bit longer(we all know why they are that short or long teehee), but all of them get right to the point of the book--sex. And cowboy lesbian sex at that! Ride 'em cowgirl, Yeehaw! Some of them are so steamy they are sure to get you...you know...and the others, well, they are just so artiscly written it's a pleasure to read. How come all the best writers write erotica?! I may not be a lesbian, but after reading this: things that make you go...hmmmm. I'd better not let my husband see that I have this book, he'll wonder why I keep going down the road to see those women at the stables!

Hot, Wet, and Wicked!

An intriguing theme, and a solid bunch of stories to fill the book. My personal favorites were Shanna Germain's "Western Pleasure", (a tale of two women meeting up at rodeos around the country) which was a gentle tale of longing and maybe moving on, and editor Sacchi Green's "Bull Rider", a story I first read (and loved!) in one of the Best Lesbian Erotica series. Other delights came from Nipper Goodwin, Cheyenne Blue, M. Christian, and Julia Talbot. There were some stories that seemed to scrabble for the western theme, but these were a minority. A couple barely had an introductory sentence before diving into the action, but then, this IS erotica! A great anthology for any lesbian erotica collection. Buy it, it won't disappoint!

Sexxxyyy!

I picked up the book to peruse it a little and wasn't able to put it down! These gals are HOT! Makes me want to be a lesbian...

yeehah!

It's about time that female cowboys got their due and finally a lesbian erotica that isn't all plot, plot, plot, kiss, she humped me, she dumped me, we got back together. These women ride hard and I always put the book down wet!!! Great title!!! The realism is great! Some of these writers are definitely the real deal!! I wasn't sure what to expect but I wasn't disappointed with what I found. There's historical and modern working women cowboys and even some citygrrrl cowboys. The sex is great and it has enough plot to take you there in your head without seeming like reading War and Peace to get you there! There's romance for sure but it's about time dykes got some serious sport sex!!! And sport sex with a woman cowboy, well, shucks ma'am that's just about as good as it gets!!!!

Readin' and Ridin'

This book had a good share of stories that put me away wet, and several that gave my mind a workout as well. Many of them were short and punchy, like M. Christian's "Last Tango in Paris, Texas", while others took the time to build an extended "story" around the [...], something I appreciate even though I understand that not everybody has a taste for that. Longer pieces like Cheyenne Blue's "The Other Side of the Rockies" were among my favorites. As for historical content, three stories were set just after the Civil War, and there were a couple of others set in about the same time period, so there didn't seem to be any lack of historical content. The mix here includes a considerable amount of the BDSM you'd expect with all that rope on hand, some of it intense, as in Chuck Fellows' "No More Secrets". Nipper Godwin's humorous "Three Loops and a Hooey" won me over for the quality of the writing, even though it was one of those in which the cowboy theme was a bit of a stretch. As with just about every erotica anthology I've read, the variety of stories makes it inevitable that nobody will like them all. For me, though, the book as a whole had plenty of appeal and was well worth the ride.
