A terrific synopsis of the life of the father of the atomic bomb

If you are like me and have dozens of strong interests and can't read 800 page tomes on all of them, this book is just terrific. It is quite small and very easy to read yet quite enjoyable. I could hardly imagine an easier, more effective way to bone up on Robert Oppenheimer. I will not soon forget the quote from Truman, "Don't bring that fellow around here again. After all, all he did was make the bomb. I'm the guy who fired it off." If Truman really said that, I think he would get along great with a later President.

It was a very detailed description of the man and his life

The book gave me a broder look at the geinues and his life. It helped me to understand one of the lesser known physisists of our time.
