I wish the series was longer than 10 books!

Re: Book 6, Road Trip I closed this book with tears of sadness, yet joy. It’s not always easy to say goodbye and the grannies along with Nikki had to. However, my hope is that the ladies will see their gentlemen friends again. Soon. This was another good story and I feel it was just as good as the previous one. I’m getting to know the characters more all the time and that always makes me feel more at home while reading. It gives me a warm and comfortable feeling. The grannies take a road trip from their home in sunny Florida to Branson, Missouri so Geraldine can see her first true love and ex-husband, Thomas. Thomas’s mother told him that if he didn’t divorce Geraldine that she’d never give him their shoe business and he’d be cut out of her will, so he divorced her. Apparently she wasn’t prominent enough to be with the likes of Thomas. That was 40 years prior and Geraldine never forgot Thomas. The grannies and Nikki arrive in Branson and go to a few live shows. They all meet performers and take a liking to them and spend their vacation going out together. However, it is during the beginning of their visit that one of the performers is murdered and of course the grannies and Nikki are on the case to catch the killer. Of course there are plenty of hijinks and shenanigans and a ton of fun! I’d be perfectly happy if there were 30 more books in this series! I just checked and for cryin’ out loud! This book was the last full length in this series. However, there are 4 novellas to go with it, so I’ll start with book 1 of the short reads. Book 1 is Hot Purr-Suit. Hopefully the Branson gang make appearances.
