A Thrill Ride from Start to Finish

This is, without a doubt, one of the finest thrillers I have been fortunate to encounter in my many years of reading such books. From the very beginning, through to the terrifying and totally unexpected twist in the tale ending, this is a book I simply couldn't put down. the brutal recreations of the Toltec Ritual are brilliantly illustrated in the words of the author, and I can only describe this book as a masterpiece in its genre. Heads and Tales above the Usual Mystery Page-Turner

this is an excellent page-turner and mystery . It is one of those rare junkers about a total psychopath on the loose who is totally crazy. However, you are still on the edge of your seat guessing. It has interesting characters, pieces fit together and there is no deus ex machina in the end. There is bizarre ritual, religiosity, academic b.s. and a whole maelstrom of personality disorders flooding the pages. It is a must-read pulp fiction. Heads and tales above the usual.

Ritual

This mystery novel is one that keeps you glued to your seat until the end. You definitely don't want to peek ahead on this one. William Heffernan is an excellent mystery writer but this one is my favorite and I'm not passing this one around for fear that I will lose track of it. It's a 10 pointer in my book.
