Enjoyable book

Used the review feature wrong in my previous review, so this is an update. The book is a very good and enjoyable book. I've loved the series for a long time, definitely worth reading

Lots of fun, but not without problems

The cracks in the writing are starting to show, earlier than I remember. The first book holds up imo, but the flaws in Erin Hunter’s writing are starting to be more and more obvious. Like Dustpelt and Fernpaw are a yikes 😬 It still has what makes the series special, though — the evocative worldbuilding, unique vibes, and addictive plot. Bluestar is so interestingly-written in the first series, and she continues to be complex and compelling. The ending is really intense! It’s still such a fun time, and I’m definitely gonna continue the series! It just doesn’t hold up quite as well as I remember.

Well, Looking Back...

Ah, How well I can remeber that day in Barnes & Nobles when I discovered "Into the Wild" and a new obsession was born! Now, many months later, after reading all of the first series and closely following the second, I can look back on this book fondly. Readers will be delighted, for Erin Hunter has jam-packed this addition with the usual twists and turns, making it an exciting and enjoyable read. Tigerclaw, traitor and long-time nemisis of our beloved Fireheart, is finally expelled from Thunderclan. But for new deputy and mentor Fireheart, there is still a predictable heap of trouble. Bluestar, crushed and unstable after Tigerclaw's heartbreaking treachery, is but shell of her former self, and out hero must take on terrible new burdens-- leadership, fear, and budding romance-- with little or no help. In this book we learn more of Cloudpaw, Fireheart's nephew and apprentice. I personally think his character is a welcome break from the others, for he is stubborn, carefree, and self-centered; a living steriotype of the "once a kittypet, always a kittypet" phrase that Fireheart has tried so hard to demolish. You will follow his part of the story with breathless excitment, for there's no telling what he'll do next. Through plot twists, heartbreaks, and the excitment of battle, Erin Hunter has once more captivated readers. A splendid read!

Rising Storm

This is my favorite of the Warriors books, and they're all really, really good. I like how you can really feel as if you're there with Fireheart as he struggles with his new duties as deputy. I love the character of Cloudpaw, and how he has a whole different personality than the other characters in the book- he's more laid back and not as noble. I really wasn't expecting the Fireheart/Sandstorm relastionship, but it was a great thing to put into the series, as you'll see in the books to come. For a summary of the book- Fireheart, now Clan deputy, must figure out how to juggle his new duties and still have time to worry about the still-lurking Tigerclaw in the forest, along with the fact that the weather in the forest is heating up, and his wayward apprentice isn't proving to the Clan that kittypets really can be warrriors. Along with that, his leader is a shell of her former self, and it's up to FIreheart to hide her weakened state to the Clan. The deaths in the book are handled well, you still feel sad but not to the point when you just don't want to read it because it's deppressing. I loved the cliffhanger ending, and was glad that I had bought the 5th book at the same time so I could read it right away!

Warriors: RIsing Storm

This is my absolute favorite Warriors book, and I've read them all. In tis addition of Warriors, Bluestar is still severly shocked and learning about Tigerclaw's treachery, and it is up to Fireheart to protect ThunderClan. I loved this book for the territfic characaters, the excellent plot and the cliffhanger ending. (A word of advice for readers: If you get Rising Storm, get A Dangerous Path, too, otherwise you'll be wondering and wondering what happens next.) READ RISING STORM!!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fireheart is back, for the most action packed book I have ever read, and I have read a lot of books! First off, Fireheart is having trouble as the deputy. Whitestorm plays a larger part in the books as he advises Fireheart on patrols and stuff.(Yay!) Mousefur and the queens are also playing larger parts,(Yay!), and Ravenpaw is making a comeback. (Yay once more!)Bluestar is severely depressed as her once loyal, former deputy, Tigerclaw, betrays ThunderClan. Fireheart is getting very worried about the leader. He continues to get dreams from Spottedleaf, and none of them look too good. As for the prophecy in the first book, 'Fire alone shall save our clan', isn't it obvious what fire StarClan is talking about? Of course, that was obvious from the start, but Erin Hunter could surprise us all. The danger in this story is the continued hostility from WindClan and ShadowClan, plus a frightening natural disaster. Cinderpaw and Yellowfang help Fireheart with some emotional issues(think the unexpected friendship with Sandstorm and the feeling of loss Fireheart feels for Spottedleaf). The action, as I said before, is unbelievably good. This is only her fourth book, but Erin Hunter is showing some amzing writing potential! THe plot is refreshing, original, and just a touch borrowed to create a familiar yet culturally different life in the cat clans. The writing style is getting better every sentence, every book. I have nothing to complain, although it's hard to picture ThunderClan's ravine that they live on. This is an awesome book, don't miss it for the world.A downside: This is the first book where Graystripe isn't in a major role. It's so sad when Fireheart suspects his friend of wanting to return, but he can't, because Crookedstar wont' let him.READ THIS BOOK FOR THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A book you will seriously not want to miss, even for dinner

This has got to be the best yet in the warrior's series. There is so much action, and so many plots, your head will be delightfully swimming!First off, Fireheart has some major new responsibilities, what with a new apprentice, being Tigerclaw's replacement, and Bluestar not being herself. Ravenpaw is one of my favorite characters, and he plays a larger role in Rising Storm. I sorely miss Graystripe, but you often forget he even exists with all the action. Cinderpelt begins to have doubts, and she is confused for a good section of this book. At the ThunderClan camp, there is a terrible disaster, and RiverClan plays a large role. I've barely told anything about this book, although it may not seem like it. The whole book is rich in characters, plots, and sub-plots. Even if I have told too much, you won't be missing out on any of the twists, turns, and action. Just try to put this book down! It will be hard!
