I give this book at every baby shower in my church. It's absolutely wonderful at putting parents on the right track spiritually with their baby, helping them start prioritizing faith NOW rather than trying to change their habits later. It covers a ton of topics, has an easy-to-read style that's affirming rather than condescending, and really reaches parents at every stage of the new-baby years from pregnancy to toddlerhood. HIGHLY recommended by this children's minister. (She does talk about infant baptism, but in a non-preachy way that allows me to never worry about offending anyone.)
