Best book ever

This was my favorite activity book growing up and it still is now in my fiftys it still brings back those days of youth.

Kept us busy for days!

When my sister, brother and I were little, my parents bought us this book. I'm so glad to see it again! Not only did it keep us busy for hours, it kept us busy for DAYS! We kept going back to it; there was so much to do! Plus, it was great for our different age ranges - there were coloring pages for younger children, and lots of things to cut out and put together for children old enough to use scissors and glue (or tape). Best of all, even after we'd done everything, we were inspired to adapt the projects in our own way - such as, design and make our own paper airplanes or notecards based on the projects in the book. Definitely a must-have! Wonderful illustrations, too. The only thing I'd recommend is buying one for each child!

A winner!

This was a great purchase for my 6-year-old son. With children, you really never know what is going to be a hit or a miss when you spend money on books and toys. I'm happy to report that this activity book was worth every penny, keeping my son busy and interested for hours on end.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

This is the best activity book ever, EVER!!!! It NEEDS to be re-released. I have never loved anything as much as I loved this book.

Please re-release this book!!

I had this book when I was a kid and I would LOVE to get it for my daughter! I remember spending hours and hours with this book, coloring, reading stories and making mobiles and paper trains. Of course I'll never forget the Lowly Worm pattern to make your own Lowly worm doll! Please re-print this book so kids today can enjoy it as much as I did!

bring back the original

This was the best book ever. I was 5 in '75, and my 8 year old sister (so I thought) bought this book for me through her school's book fair. I played with it all the time. I remember most making the cut out trains that folded together. I wish the publishers would bring this book back so that my 5 year old son can enjoy it. But please, don't modernize the illustrations. Here's to Dingo, that crazy dog...
