Book Overview

It's been nearly 25 years since Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad first made waves in the Personal Finance arena.
It has since become the #1 Personal Finance book of all time... translated into dozens of languages and sold around the world.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert's story of growing up with two dads -- his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad -- and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you.

20 Years... 20/20 Hindsight
In the 20th Anniversary Edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we've seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy. Sidebars throughout the book will take readers "fast forward" -- from 1997 to today -- as Robert assesses how the principles taught by his rich dad have stood the test of time.

In many ways, the messages of Rich Dad Poor Dad, messages that were criticized and challenged two decades ago, are more meaningful, relevant and important today than they were 20 years ago.

As always, readers can expect that Robert will be candid, insightful... and continue to rock more than a few boats in his retrospective.

Will there be a few surprises? Count on it.

Worth it

As one of the must reads in the financial book realm, it lives up to its name except… I somehow didn’t feel satisfied in the end. His teachings are through his experiences from societal norms vs what wealth really means. Its a mindset shift and it helps you discover that opportunities are everywhere.

Wonderful Book

This book is so extremely insightful and contains lessons that are valuable everywhere in your life, not just in a financial aspect. You couldn’t learn things like this in school.

Excellent book, especially for today’s young adults.

Love that this book has diagrams and the authors proving theories. Wish I had this book 30 years ago.

Everything on this books is awesome extremely recomendable

The book will change your life as soon as you read it.

I had to stop reading, it's very pretentious book and half the stories are not believable.

Not good.

This book should be called rich dad middle class dad

Yikes. This book is a slap in the face to anyone who is actually poor.

Good book, great for an intro to personal finance

The book is well written and uses Kiyosaki's two dads as a framing device, however it doesn't touch much on how to actually have your money work for you. This is almost a philosophy book, as Kiyosaki makes the reader want to make investments, but doesn't go far past that. This is a great intro to personal finance, and is by no means the end of the road for the reader. Read this for inspiration, then read about what kinds of investing you want to do.

Wow

Life changing especially for people of color. Tell a friend to tell a friend. I know what I am giving as stocking stuffers l.

Amazing Book!

Will change your perspective on business, jobs, and life! A must read.

Very Easy Read - Beginner

It was a very easy and fast read. I would consider it a beginners book. Many of the things he discussed I was already aware of. I am not sure how all of the editions are, but the one I purchased had an illustration with the wrong description.

Great Starter

Very informative book and helped me gain financial literacy.

Must read for 90s babies

Great book for young people tryna become successful in today's economy. Tons of free game in this book

Discovering what is hidden from our sight

This book shows an extraordinary way to understand how everybody has a chance to lead his or her financial life. There are a lot of opportunities out there, some of them in front of us but we are just not ready to see them. The authors simplify concepts to open the reader's eyes. Who is not interested about knowing the "secrets" to become a rich person?. Anybody expecting to get a successful business will like to get the information of this useful book. I see money management in a different way after reading "Padre Rico Padre Pobre" (Rich Dad Poor Dad). I know that this will give me some advantages among others that have not read it yet. You will be surprised about how simple you can get financial knowledge and develop financial intelligence.
