Somebody needs to bring back this classic

Carolyn See's "Rhine Maidens," a novel about a difficult mother and the dutiful daughter who loves her, is one of my favorite novels ever, and probably the best to explore the mother-daughter dyad from both sides.Astringent, witty, and poignant all at once. If you can find a copy, you're in for a treat.
