This is an informative and colorful book which provides a brief sketch of the lives and works of revolutionaries who have been influential in the 19th and 20th century. The book, however, suffers from two drawback. First, the authors fail to include Marx, Engels, and Lenin who have been influential in the thinking of a number of the revolutionaries in the book. Second, there is no distinction made between the ideologies of these revolutionary thinkers. For instance the Dalai Lama, Lech Walesa, and Vaclav Havel been politically supported by the West for their anti-communist activities. This is in sharp contrast to the struggles of Che, Chavez, Davis, and others. Nevertheless, I recommend this book.
