Grace, Holiness, and Power:The Three faces of Revival
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
I have gotten this book from my church, iworshipcenter in springfield, illinois, i have browsed through th book and it looks to be anointed, powerful, and awesome. It is so great to know that you can reap from the wisdom of these great men of God. The part I really wanted to comment on is the chapter written by my pastor, Eric A. Hansen. His Chapter was #17 The Three Faces of Revival, and that was some anointed stuff. I really loved how Eric just broken down what a true revival can look like by using the Trinity! I loved it how God the Father reprsents Holiness and how a revival will have holiness, Jesus represented Grace and how we need grace in this move of God, also the Holy Spirit which represents POWER! But I loved how he cautioned people to be balanced. How with holiness we could swing so much to one side where it could become legalism. How with grace we could swing so far to one side and make it a license to sin. He made it so clear that we need all three of these parts, just like for a stool to be effective needs three legs. This is awesome material. And I highly recommend it! All of this book looks good, so I suggest to get the whole thing. If you are looking for something to wet your appitite for revival? If you looking for some guidance in this move of God? Then I would highly recommend Revival Sermons and just allow the Holy Spirit to stir in you to the point where you cry out "More Lord!" *Note about chapter 17 by Eric Hansen, when the book was put together our church was known as First Assembly of God. Since then, in about 2005 I would say, the church has changed its name to iWorshipCenter, if you are in the springfield, Illinois area please come on out, we would love to have you.
