The Most Misunderstood Book!

The last review was confusing, disrespectful and inmature. I guess some people dont have a life, so they get on here and critisize authors which is not very Christ like. Albrect never does get offended at critizism though. This well researched book has helped me come to understand a lot of things. I use to be a believer in the Rapture, the 7 year tribulation and the literal 1,000 year Millenium. When a ederly lady gave me this at church one day, I took it home and threw it in my closet. Now this book is proudly on my book shelf. If there is any book that I would recomend on revelation. This one would be it. I am not married to my former belief anymore and Im glad Im not because its not grounded in scripture. Greg introuduced me to a theoligical term called despensationalism. I always avoided that kind of teaching. I never knew that the rapture teaching came from that. I did more reseacrh on it and came to realize that the rapture teaching is just scriptures copied and pasted together to proove its point. I learned in college a long time ago that this is a dangerous aproach to understanding the bible. We should let the context speak for itself instead of putting our own ideas into it. In my opinion, this book was well done and I recomend it to anybody who is caught up in end time prophecy. Who are we to predict the future? Only God knows. Christ is indeed going to return. How and when it is going ot happen (has he says in his book) is non essential. The inportant thing is that we are given salvation and we are going to be spending eternity with God because of what He has done for us. Whatever God does when He returns, it will be good. Grey areas are so hard for people, because they want to be told exactly what will happen, but when we do that, it takes our focus off what really matters. Let treat the book of revelation with the respect that it deserves. Lets not pretend to have the final say on whats going to happen. Lets focus on the cross. Bible prophecy as well as the book of revelation reveals God as who He is, what He has done and the simple fact that He will return.
