Cabral is the national hero of Cape Verde, and the only African revolutionary to succesfully forge a national liberation movement that was itself Pan-African in stucture and goals- seeking the joint liberation of both Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau. The speeches enclosed give insight into Cabral's socialist ideology, equal rights platform and global mindset.
