the epic journey continues with book 3

Looks like I lucked out: 1) I was able to find a copy of this hard to get book.2) My copy of this one is a paperback (It has none of the flaws that the hardback is said to have had). 3) I loved it!I read Armageddon and Warhawk. They both entertained me big time!Resurrection was tough to find but I managed to get it used. It's the revised paperback. It rocks! There's a change in authors but no change in story quality between book 2 and 3. The paperback would really seem to be better than the first printing version. Grade: A+

five stars

Over the past few months I have begun watching the Battlestar Galactica televison program for the first time. I was never much of a science fiction fan and had limited access to televison while growing up. I didn't see the Battlestar Galactica televison series until my husband purchased the complete series on DVD. I became an instant fan after Saga of a Star World. I then began reading my husbands collection of Battlestar Galactica books by Richard Hatch. Both the books and the series have flaws (what doesn't?), but they also have wonderful characters, heart, imagination, and warmth. There's a special charm to Battlestar Galactica. Watching the episodes and reading the books has been five star experience for me.

GOOD STORY

Warning: This book suffers from a lack of decent editing.HOWEVER: It's still a great read. I loved the story. I enjoyed the characters. The evolving mythos is engrossing.

BSG: Resurrection goes back to past, looks to future

Richard Hatch is right on with his third in a now four book series about the journey of the Battlestar Galactica and her fleet of human survivors to find Earth. Mr. Timmons' lets flow onto paper the spirit of Richard's Galactica adventure 20 years after the Galactica and the Rag Tag Fleet began their pilgramage away from the crushing blow the Cylon Empire delt them all.Richard takes his main character, Apollo, on a search for his own soul by having him encounter those he loved the most in his past. His dreams reveal a doubt in himself that leaves a leader in anguish. He takes a chance when times are the roughest and almost pays by sacrificing his best friend and the entire fleet. It is a dramatic "back to the beginning" tale that will leave you with a deeper respect of the leader as a man as well as a hero. Richard tells an emotionally action packed tale that leaves his readers with a twist in the end. It is a must read if you enjoyed the first two novels! Thanks Richard!

the same thrills we all remember

If you love the old Galactica then you'll love this new adventure that continues the WARHAWK saga. Fun for us Hatch-addicts!
