Another good reference book for educators

Especially valuable for anyone invovled in the restructuring of a school or district... so that would be school board members, principals, teachers, and parents. It's a big decision to change a school's paradigm, and this book helps sort out the options. Like another book by these two professors, Resaerch on Innovations, this one manages to teach the reader about research and what it is and isn't, in addition to giving enough information about the history, philosophy, and results of any of the models in the book. Just like the title says: this is about the research about restructuring, and doesn't have any particular agenda to persuade the reader to embrace. Other than being informed before you make any decisions.
