Very Useful Introductory Book

Although this is an older book, and difficult to locate, it is well worth the effort. The authors provide brief and highly readable introductions to quantitative and qualitative research methodology. I understand that it should become more readily available from Wipf and Stock in late summer or early fall 2008.
